INTRODUCING

SENSORY SUCCESS...

a comprehensive package that combines a sensory assessment and detailed professional report for your child, with online training and my highest level of parent support for 6 months.

With Sensory Success, you'll gain a clear understanding of your child's unique sensory needs and receive the necessary tools and support to implement recommended strategies both at home and at school.

Over the course of 6 months, I will provide dedicated support to help you overcome challenges and problem solve issues as they arise. Additionally, you'll have the invaluable opportunity to join a close-knit community of parents who are going through similar difficulties.

SENSORY SUCCESS

IS FOR YOU IF...

  • Your child may have difficulties with certain sounds, with the feeling of clothing or hair cuts, they may have frequent meltdowns, they may be constantly on the move - rocking in their chair, spinning or fidgeting, they might struggle with being in busy shops and with standing in line, they might be 'fine' in school but explode when they get home... You know they have sensory difficulties but you don't fully understand the issues or how best to help.
  • You feel confused, overwhelmed, tired and stressed out. You are frustrated by the lack of help and support and want to take action now so that your child is happier and calmer at home and at school.
  • You want the support of an experienced professional who has been there and navigated the difficult parent journey themselves. Someone who truly 'gets it' and really cares.
  • You want my highest level of support, knowing that I'm there when you need me and that you can ask me anything.

WORKING WITH ME...

I absolutely love supporting parents to better understand their child's sensory needs.

I am caring, approachable and highly knowledgeable. I also have a great sense of fun!

I have over 16 years therapy experience and postgraduate training in sensory integration. Alongside this, I am a mum of two children, one is autistic and attends a special school and one is now in mainstream after having been out of school for over a year.

I am also highly sensitive myself with my own experience of sensory differences.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

Assessment

Having a sensory assessment for your child means that you will be able to understand their specific needs.

The online training and parent support sessions will help you to understand the assessment findings.

Assessments are suitable for ages 3+ and include:

  • Sensory questionnaire assessment form for parents/carers.
  • Background history questionnaire.
  • In person or online assessment of the child. In person assessments take place at my Ulverston clinic.
  • In depth report with recommendations and resources for school and home.
  • Feedback Zoom meeting.

Support

I will be here for you for 6 months. All you need to do is ask me for what you need.

There is a monthly group parent meet-up online where you get to celebrate your wins, gain more strategies to support your child, learn from other parents and feel the benefit of a supportive group community.

This takes place once a month on Wednesdays 8pm-9pm, with the option to stay until 9.30pm to ask questions.

If you cannot attend live then you can watch the recording.

You can also contact me in the group feed and via email if you need support during the 6 months.

Training

You will have 6 months access to educational videos on a range of key sensory topics to work through in your own time.

The videos are organised into easy to follow modules and are typically 5-15 minutes long so you can fit them into your busy week.

Alongside the videos you have access to downloadable ideas sheets that you can keep forever; the perfect mix of theory and practical strategies.

You also have the opportunity to ask questions related to the training in the parent support sessions and in the group feed.

Community

You will become a member of my small supportive online community of parents who experience similar difficulties to you.

There will be the opportunity to share and celebrate parenting wins, seek support on difficult issues and share ideas and strategies.

The group is hosted on an easy to use and secure online platform.
